Question: are you a fan of animal cruelty? you seem to be a huge fan of taxidermy.
is it cruel to turn a squirrel into a lamp/decanter if it's dead? if so, i'd love to hear that explanation.
it's just macabe and creepy. the fact that the animal is already dead isn't cruel, but it perpetuates the sense that animals are just objects that we can use for our entertainment/pleasure. it diminishes their life value in a way. my comment was directed about the bear/horse pictures, which do depict animal cruelty.
ahhhhh, so you think those bears are stuffed, formerly real bears? that's solid detective work.
obviously i'm not into animal cruelty. it's just a funny picture. don't take the things you see/read on this weblog too seriously. i sure don't.
no fear, i'm thinking the squirrel is a hybrid mix between real squirrel fur that they collect each spring during the molting season and the same mold material that they make bald eagles on branches statues with.
